  • A cosy, intimate, dog-friendly room with a strong selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes.
  • Small space near the Old Town: booking ahead is highly recommended, especially in the evenings.

Authentic, generous Vietnamese near the Old Town

Viet.inės is a small Vietnamese restaurant on Visų Šventųjų gatvė, on the edge of the Old Town in central Vilnius. It is celebrated by diners as one of the best places for authentic Vietnamese cooking in Lithuania, with flavours that regulars happily compare to what they have eaten in Vietnam itself. The cooking is comforting and richly flavoured, the portions are generous, and the overall value is excellent.

The room is genuinely tiny, cosy and intimate — and dog-friendly — which is a big part of its appeal but also its main practical limitation. Because tables are so few, booking a table in advance is highly recommended, particularly during busy evening hours. Most experiences are outstanding, though a few visitors have noted that service can be inconsistent when the small kitchen is under pressure.

Good to know

Most-recommended orders are the pho, spring rolls and fresh summer rolls, the genuinely fiery homemade sriracha (approach with caution) and Vietnamese coffee or tea with condensed milk. Portions are large, so a single soup can be a meal in itself. The restaurant runs a low-waste ethos and welcomes you to bring your own containers for takeaway. Hours, prices and reservation policy can change, so confirm the latest details before visiting.
