Burgers and beer in a Tesla-themed Old Town pub

Tesla PUB hides at Totorių g. 5, on a quiet street in the Old Town a short walk from Cathedral Square. It is a small, intimate pub with a fun hook — the decor is themed around the inventor Nikola Tesla — and it has built a loyal following as a hidden gem for two things above all: burgers and beer. The burgers draw the loudest praise, with plenty of regulars calling them the best in Vilnius, and the prices are reasonable enough to make it a regular haunt rather than a treat.

The room is cosy and rarely crammed, which makes it a good spot for actual conversation, and there is an upstairs seating area that works well for groups. The beer list runs through local and craft options at fair prices — a few drinkers find the tap selection a touch limited, but there is a decent range to work through. The staff and bartenders get consistent marks for being friendly and helpful.

Good to know

When you order a burger it is worth specifying your preferred doneness — medium-rare, say — to get it the way you like it. Vegetarian options are reportedly scarce, so this is one for the burger-and-beer crowd. The pub is pet-friendly and tends not to be crowded, which is part of its appeal. It usually opens in the late afternoon; confirm current opening hours with the venue before you go.
