What to expect

Holy Moly is a small, much-loved Indian street-food kitchen on Kalvarijų gatvė in Šnipiškės, on the north bank across from the Old Town. Fans call it one of the best places in Vilnius for genuine Indian flavours: cooking that's fresh, punchy and very affordable, served in a cozy room with an honest street-food feel. The owner and staff are a big part of the appeal, often described as passionate and genuinely welcoming.

The menu is heavily vegetarian and vegan-friendly, built around stuffed parathas (aloo, veggie and paneer), samosas and samosa chaat, momos, pakora and spiced chai. Ask for an 'Indian spice level' if you want real heat, and look out for dine-in extras like a free tea with a paratha. The space is tiny and can be easy to find closed outside its posted hours, so it's wise to call ahead — and delivery via Wolt and Bolt is an easy fallback.

  • Stuffed parathas, samosas, momos, pakora and chai.
  • Mostly vegetarian and vegan-friendly; confirm meat dishes on the day.
  • Ask for an 'Indian spice level' for proper heat.
  • Call ahead — it's small and hours can vary.
